Just when the weather is on our side and we were getting an early jump start!!!

Then came Covid19.

I've been getting calls from customers inquiring about how to keep sales appointments and production moving in the right direction. I thought I would share some of my responses. I have spoken to not only homeowners, contractors and supply yards, but also paver manufactures and green industry officials.

For you as the homeowner, we can do all of the designing and sales process with you online. I ask of you (your property survey, pictures of the areas, ideas of what you want & we will bring your ideas to life). If this is too difficult for you we can get as much info over the phone, via Skype or FaceTime then head to the site and gather info outside. We will draw up and email designs to you along with a virtual meeting to discuss details.

Once the hysteria and precautions end concerning the virus there will be a huge pent up demand for homeowners wanting to get their work designed and scheduled. With technology at our finger tips we can get ahead of this curve while keeping "social distancing".

Our goal is to make your home as close to paradise and outdoor living as possible. This is a great time to design and build especially with all the many options out there today to make it more enjoyable. Outdoor living options are endless. Backyard possibilities include patios, pavilions with space heaters, cabanas/gazebos, outdoor fireplaces, built in BBQs and bar units, fire pits, hot tub areas, turf for mini golf, sports courts... besides your normal pool/water feature. Backyards, even in the tri state area should be designed with 3 seasons in mind. Outdoor living room sets and weather proof TV's add something for everyone. Lighting today, especially low voltage lighting, is better than ever with high quality fixtures.

Now's the time to create a "STAYCATION"! The world is increasingly more dangerous to travel and the Corona Virus won't be the last bio threat. We can design a master plan which may work better for clients so we can build your project in stages each year.

On the production side of things, we are fortunate our work is outside. Unfortunately, we can't lay pavers or install plants if the suppliers dry up and for some manufacturers they have drastically reduced down their production sites and others may follow. Many clients have decided to take delivery now. They do not want to wait on their project to start and others are following suit. No room at the site? No worries. We will make accommodation to hold your materials until you need them delivered. Now is the time to preorder weeks ahead of time. We make sure our crews follow all CDC guidelines.

These are unusual times for sure, but by thinking ahead of the curve & being proactive we will be able to reward our customers first.
